Unlimited ways to use Inform
Inform can be used for many different things. One of the best reasons to use Inform is that you can copy the software to have different files for different uses. For example you can keep one version just for financial information, one for property details, one for your DVD collection, even one for your staff to run your business in an emergency - all for the price of one licence!
To be more specific however, here are a few ideas for how you may want to use it.
Getting organised. Now you can have all your financial information, documents, policies and online account information in one place. If you ever need to remember a policy expiry date, an important phone number, the date of a car accident and how much it was for, then Inform will do it all. Being organised will save you money and time in the long term.
Important events. By keeping a detailed record of when investments were made, why a trust in a will was included, when a pension was joined and the associated paperwork, you will be prepared for unexpected events such as a dispute or claim. Disputes such as PPI claims or mis sold endowment policies are two examples of things that if recorded properly, could be dealt with quickly and without dispute.
Probate. Inform is perfect for recording the estate of a relative after they die, or to record your own estate or a relative before you or they die. Because the details can be kept on a secure USB stick until needed, you can have peace of mind that everything is ready for when it is needed without telling anyone what you have. For an elderly relative it can make real sense to use Inform before they die so nothing is missed afterwards. Our data entry service is confidential and is ideal for these situations. If however you are the executor, you can use Inform to record the estate details and then pass the details to a solicitor or probate specialist so that they only need to organise the probate forms, and not charge you for hours of work looking through paperwork.
Power of attorney. Inform can record who your attorneys are, and can be used as a record of attorney events. If the Court of Protection ask for details of the attorney's actions, the software can be used to deliver all of the required information including the date of the event, and the action taken.
Collections. If you are looking for a way to detail your wine or record collection, then Inform is perfect. You can record many useful details such as the date bought, the serial number, the price paid, latest valuation, joint owners, events and many more details. You can link insurance policies to individual items, who was involved in the transaction, what income is derived from the item and anything else important.
Renewals. Inform will tell you when a policy is due to expire so you can maximise the opportunity and change providers, make sure it does not run out, tell an adviser details of important policies, keep records of old policies and contracts and more. Using Inform on a weekly or monthly basis will ensure you are on top of important renewal dates.
Business emergencies. As well as for personal use, you may want to make a copy just for business use. If your staff or relatives know how to access the information, it can be used to make sure suppliers are informed of issues, business policies are kept up to date, emergency numbers are known, banking details are known, staff details are available and much more. Because Inform can be tailored to your needs, you can customise the headings required to fit in with whatever you need Inform for.
Staff information. Giving a copy of Inform to your staff can mean they have access to key staff contacts, their terms and conditions, can store their pay information, staff training details as well as company equipment and financial information. We offer coprorate discounts. We can also offer tailored services for your staff - e.g. for senior management or for general staff benefits.
Multiple databases. You can create a separate database to be used by executors and attorneys for example, if you want to keep your own confidential database, and want to have another available with only the information they need to carry out their duties. This makes our solution completely flexible for your needs.
